Cultivated Electronics, a key player in the electro armada, continues the vinyl-only series “For The Floor” on its limited-editions branch. As before, the four-tracker is split between two projects. The A-side belongs to the French electro hardliner Umwelt who wears full armour in “Memoryscape” and “Morphing Sequences”. Noisy and untamed, though without any unexpected turns. In my ears, the B-side is a winner, when “Get Down” by DJ MELL G x Unklevon witnesses a flying saucer landing. Quirky and moderately lunatic cut takes control of the body, complemented by a Sync 24 x Controlled Weirdness remix.
