Andy Crosby got hooked on the electronic music in the 1990s while he was studying computer science at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Surrounded by computers and Detroit’s powerful halo, Crosby adopted the artist name Spesimen and established electro label Infocalypse Recordings in 1996. It was the time when another AnnRead More →
After the self-titled debut album in 2009, Juju & Jordash have stayed close to Dekmantel, a label in their chosen home Netherlands, where the Isreali-born producers also issued the next two longplayers, “Techno Primitivism” and “Clean-Cut”. “Down To The Roach” is their new tool for the club use and it triggers many flashbacks. Rating: 8/10 The fans of barbed sounds met with excitement the news about Perc’s album, his first full-length after a production career of ten years. Rating: 6/10 After a number of tense and slinky releases on own label Geophone, Parker moves on to Europe and continues his series of echo-filled compositions, now on Italian label Aquaplano. In January he did another EP, on German Prologue Music, including a Donato Dozzy remix. From this EP IRead More →
Ambassadors of blue light have descended on the Earth. They glimmer, they roar, they vibrate behind the controls and are full of microchips, delivering a message of electro. No sterile gloved research in a secluded lab, but a demonstration of spectacular blazing energy to the world. The first album ofRead More →
Thomas P. Heckmann performing here, hiding behind the name Acid Pin-Ups and peeking at girls out there, having programmed for each of them a rough serenade. Acid record with tough and deformed sounds that, has unsuccessfully tried to add a funky edge to the entire stuff. “Betty 101” and “HeatherRead More →
